再说 as "besides" usually starts the second clause and adds an extra reason.

1. HSK 1

   这件事明天再说吧。

   Zhè jiàn shì míngtiān zàishuō ba.

   Let's talk about this tomorrow.

   太晚了，再说我也累了，我们回家吧。

   Tài wǎn le, zàishuō wǒ yě lèi le, wǒmen huí jiā ba.

   It's too late, and besides, I'm tired. Let's go home.

   先吃饭，别的以后再说。

   Xiān chī fàn, bié de yǐhòu zàishuō.

   Let's eat first; everything else can wait.
