学习 can take a subject as its object, as in 学习中文, or be used alone, as in 他在学习.

1. HSK 1

   我在学习中文。

   Wǒ zài xuéxí Zhōngwén.

   I am studying Chinese.

2. HSK 2

   他每天学习两个小时。

   Tā měi tiān xuéxí liǎng ge xiǎoshí.

   He studies for two hours every day.

3. HSK 2

   我们一起学习吧。

   Wǒmen yìqǐ xuéxí ba.

   Let's study together.

   Nǐ xuéxí Zhōngwén duō cháng shíjiān le?

   How long have you been studying Chinese?
